Clinical I
This course will introduce the student to the role of the professional nurse in the clinical setting with the geriatric population. Emphasis will be placed on development as a member of the team, the establishment of therapeutic nurse-client relationships, and application of concepts and skills on stable patients. Role development will occur in a long-term care environment. The nursing process will be integrated throughout all aspects of the course. Prerequisite(s): ADNG1000,1050, BIOL2262, MATH1110/1930 Co-requisite(s): ADNG1100, ADNG1150, PSYC2201, CHEM1100
