Clinical Assisting II
This course introduces the student to the dental specialties of Pediatric dentistry, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Endodontics, Prosthodontics (fixed and removable), Orthodontics and also special needs patients. The student will be introduced to the lab and clinical procedures with each of the specialties listed. The lab portion will also build on material learned in Clinical Assisting I (DENT 1124). Student will repeat certain hands-on skills with an expectation of greater proficiency. Prerequisite(s): DENT 1010, DENT 1112, and DENT 1124
