Practicum I
This course provides an opportunity to apply knowledge and skill in an actual child development setting. The learner will demonstrate competency in promoting health, safety, and nutrition, arranging developmentally appropriate learning experiences, implementing positive guidance strategies, examining the learning environment, and communicating with parents. This course provides learners with a variety of field experience opportunities, including in person, virtual observations, and artificial intelligence-powered web simulations. Prerequisite(s): ECED1104, ECED1101 Co-requisite(s): ECED1138
