This 16-credit certificate program prepares graduates to perform basic computer software applications and effectively communicate and perform basic math calculations.
Students also learn the skills necessary to build and maintain good working relationships with fellow employees. Instruction and hands-on training cover topics such as business math, business communications and introduction to computer technology.

Graduates will obtain foundational knowledge and skills to open up a range of career opportunities in the diverse world of business. Nearly every type of product or service industry has a need for entry-level team members to offer general business support and expertise.
Next Steps
All credits obtained through the Business Foundations Certificate can be applied toward the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business at NTC, as well as diplomas and degrees in other areas of study, including Accounting, Administration, Computing, Office Management and Sales and Marketing.
