Applications for Traditional RN and PN Fall 2024 and Step-In 2025 are closed. All programs are offered hybrid. Applications for NTC’s three unique nursing tracks will be accepted on a continuous basis throughout the year until each program becomes full. Applicants will receive their acceptance status approximately within 30 days of submitting applications.

Practical Nursing Application

The Practical Nursing diploma program prepares nurses to provide bedside care and interact closely with patients. Practical nurses care for ill, injured or convalescing patients or persons in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes and similar institutions. Graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nursing, or LPN.

Traditional RN Application

The Traditional RN Program Associate of Science (AS) degree is offered as a two-year program for students with no previous nursing experience. Graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Registered Nurse, or RN.

LPN Step-In Application

The LPN Step-In Associate of Science (AS) degree is a three-semester program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) that want to progress to being Registered Nurses, or RNs. Graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
