• Applications for NTC’s three unique nursing tracks are accepted on a continuous basis throughout the year until each program is full.

Practical Nursing Application

The Practical Nursing diploma program prepares nurses to provide bedside care and interact closely with patients. Practical nurses care for ill, injured or convalescing patients or persons in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes and similar institutions. Graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nursing, or LPN.

Traditional RN Application

The Traditional RN Program Associate of Science (AS) degree is offered as a two-year program for students with no previous nursing experience. Graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Registered Nurse, or RN.

LPN Step-In Application

The LPN Step-In Associate of Science (AS) degree is a three-semester program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) that want to progress to being Registered Nurses, or RNs. Graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
