Northwest Technical College held the fall 2020 virtual Welcome Day to welcome students to campus for the new school year. Students received updates from faculty, staff and administration to prepare for the semester amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Representatives from a variety of offices across campus greeted students and congratulated them on taking the next step on their career path and six students won $1000 scholarships from the NTC Foundation:
- Jacqueline Manecke, a freshman studying practical nursing and health science from Fosston, Minn.
- Saphyre Johnson, a freshman studying practical nursing from Minneapolis, Minn.
- Andrew Tarnowski, a freshman studying electrical construction from St. Paul, Minn.
- Kiah Wolf, a sophomore studying nursing from Bemidji, Minn.
- Heather Mattingly, a freshman studying nursing from Webster, Minn.
- Kayla Loehrer, a freshman studying practical nursing and health science from Sauk Rapids, Minn.
