On July 28, Northwest Technical College welcomed prospective students to campus for a nursing information session.
Attendees met with representatives from the college’s nursing program and Sanford Health of Bemidji, where they received an overview of the program and curriculum, and toured campus.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment in the healthcare sector is projected to grow 15% from 2019 to 2029, adding about 2.4 million new jobs, much faster than the average for all occupations.
